The University School of Biotechnology (USBT) was founded in 1999, the year of inception of GGSIPU, with the mission of generating world-class manpower and knowledge-base for biotechnology education, research and development based on national values, social awareness and conscience. The Vision of the School has been to impart learner-oriented education, research, development, demonstration and dissemination to the needs of a sustainable society.
